CHIANTI CLASSICO RISERVA
We produce our Riserva every year, maintaining a very low yield of grapes per hectare and rigorously selecting the Sangiovese grapes from our oldest vineyards. This wine is the expression of this grape variety’s potential, and result of the dedicated work carried out by Quercia al Poggio in order to achieve it. A very complex wine made purely from Sangiovese grapes, with an intense ruby red colour and purply-red highlights tending more to burgandy over time. It has a full aroma reminiscent of Mediteranean herbs and spices and plum preserves. Very structured, good concentration in the mouth, and a sensation of fullness and elegance as befitting a great Sangiovese.
