DIRECT WINE SALES
Our Cantina is open for sales and to taste our products: Chianti Classico, Chianti Classico Riserva, Vinsanto and extra-virgin olive oil. We will be happy guide you on your visit of the wine cellars, accompanying the tasting with a small snack. Requesting in advance, it is also possible to sample the wine along with a selection of typical local cheeses and cured meats or a full lunch if you prefer.
WINE CELLAR VISIT
After having explained the layout of the estate, mostly comprised of a nature reserve, the visit commences in the vinification cellar with an explanation of how the wine is made and the various phases from harvesting up until bottling. We then explain the wine’s ageing and refinement phases, decantation, and the choice of wood used for the barrels in the ageing cellar located under the courtyard of the estate. We will sit here together around a big table where we will taste the estate’s wine, extra-virgin olive oil and Vinsanto. The relaxed and pleasant atmosphere that is created is what distinguishes our particular wine cellar tour.
FOR CHILDREN
A large chicken-run, small farmyard animals, three horses and two donkeys are especially appreciated by families with children or young nature/animal lovers.
